Now that we have jumped to the higher level playing division I lacrosse it is even more important now to treat the Notre Dame Lacrosse experience as a year round program.  During the summer our returning players will try-out for one of the NoVa West teams.  It is critical that we continue the development of chemistry throughout the summer so we can compete at the highest level during the High School season.
 
The policy for Notre Dame Academy varsity players will be if your playing for any summer lacrosse program it is strongly recommended that your first priority be the NoVa West program, if you have additional time outside of your NoVa West schedule then feel free to play for other teams or attend camps. The players on the Crusaders and Outbreak will play more competitive exposure tournaments than any other program.  There are no tournaments that other teams in the area are playing in that are not covered by being part of both the Crusaders and Outbreak.  The coaching for the Outbreak program is unequaled with over 60 years of coaching experience and the following credentials:

This policy is very critical to the continued success of the Notre Dame Academy Lacrosse program.  When players see us playing together as a team during the summer it sends a message that says we have a strong unified program which is what many players are looking for so this helps tremendously with the recruitment of future lacrosse players.
